Our Expansion Campaign

 

In the fall of 2004, after much prayer, the congregation voted to enter into a three-year expansion campaign. We believe that we are living in this area of the world in this time in history for a purpose, and we were led to increase our influence for Christ on three levels – locally, regionally, and globally.

 

Locally, we have expanded our relationships with local churches and missions efforts, and we took on the challenge to expand our own facilities. Regionally, we have taken numerous missions trips to poorer communities and to hurricane-ravished areas in the US. Globally, we have increased our missions giving and missions trips and strengthened strategic missions relationships.

 

For all three areas, we are following God’s call, trusting God to lead us and provide all the necessary people and resources so that we can be a part of greater opportunities to reach others with the Gospel message.

 

Kingdom Vision, our expansion campaign, began in May of 2005. Many people have made sacrificial financial commitments and given many hours of time to the vision God has given. Most important, they have prayed and continue to pray. Why? They have seen the Kingdom Vision. They have recognized the possibilities for reaching hundreds and thousands with the Gospel of Christ. 

 

Scope of the Kingdom Vision Expansion Campaign

 

  • 2000-seat sanctuary
  • Additional parking
  • Food court and book store
  • New children’s building
  • Renovation of existing sanctuary for youth
  • Renovation of "craft barn" for ministry use
  • Administration/ministry/counseling building
  • Recreation facilities (across Church Rd.)

Expansion Campaign Accomplishments

  • Purchase of 85 acres of land in 8 parcels. (Adding this to the 19 acres we previously owned, we now have a total of 104 acres.)
  • Selected architects, engineers, and construction managers
  • Began preliminary discussions with the township

So What’s Next?

  • Complete detailed design and construction plans
  • Raise additional funds

What Should I Do?

The most important thing you can do is pray! Join us in praying the Kingdom Vision prayer: “Lord, what would you do through me to accomplish your purposes for this church?”
